Painted Prairie Homes for Sale: Your New Beginning
Aurora, Colorado's fast-growing community known as Painted Prairie, draws attention at the national level after recently bagging the National Community of the Year title during the N.A.H.B. awards of 2022.
Neo-traditional design, explicator spatial organization, and flexibility of housing options are all within Painted Prairie homes for sale, offering an incredible quality of life that would be ideal for the Colorado environment.
It will suit those seeking new types of architecture, comfortable and safe dwellings that differ from old-fashioned houses but are friendly to the environment and encourage interaction with nature.
Attributes of Exquisite Homes
Perhaps the most conspicuous attribute of Painted Prairie Homes for Sale is its master planning, which has been pissed by some of the best brains in urban planning.
Peter Calthorpe, an urban planner, designed the community's architectural elements with the assistance of Mark Johnson of Civitas Denver.
Taken together, they delivered a neighborhood in Aurora that is not only geographically harmonious with the land on which it was built but also urbanistically novel and innovative, using best practices that promote social interaction, sustainable living, and practicality.
Painted Prairie's design integrates living, working, and play zones, seeking to allow people to live, work, and have fun all within the area. It encompasses parks, greens, and a Town Center, which reflects the spirit of the community with its focus on contemporary Colorado.
Stunning Views and Natural Beauty
What almost everyone in Painted Prairie loves about Painted Prairie is that the community is within a beautiful natural environment.
Found at the foothills of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, many residents of this state are blessed with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets with beautiful colors in the sky.
They create that serenity and pristine environment that sums up the concept of life in Colorado.
This community has been highly commended for its ample parking facilities, where people can access recreation space, green areas, or places to be in nature and develop relations with people around them.
The parks are just a bonus haven within your compound, perfect for walking, jogging, and resting.
The Town Center
Apart from providing residential units, Painted Prairie has a much bigger vision. A proposed development for the Town Center is to extend it to 55 acres to give the residents myriad utilities. Upon execution, the Town Center will highlight:
Health and Wellness Facilities: The fitness clubs and all-inclusive healthcare buildings in the heart of the town will eventually cater to all your health and fitness needs.
Local and Global Dining: Tenants can shop for foods of their preferred tastes, including local dishes and intercontinental foods.
Farmers Market: The neighborhood will have a varied farmers market, including freshly ready foods and locally made yields, to support the tenants' interaction with farmers and sellers of various products.
Collaborative Workspaces: An instance is people working from home or owning their businesses, who will find the collaborative working space in the Town Center comfy and convenient.
Boutique Hotels: For sightseeing, guests can catch a glimpse of this Painted Prairie through its excellent line of boutique hotels, each with a motif of the locality.
To achieve this, amenities are provided to help ensure residents feel connected. Therefore, Painted Prairie is a community founded on relationships within spaces, experiences, and facilities.
Housing Options for All Lifestyles
Housing choices are one of Painted Prairie's most vital points, from mid-rise apartment units to city homes.
When the community is fully developed, there will be about 3400 homes, from starter homes for beginners, family homes for young families, and homes for older people. The housing options include:
Paired and Single-Family Homes
These homes are ideal for families, first-time homeowners, or anyone who wants to own a single house with the unique features of a chic home and common grounds.
Multi-Family Homes and Townhouses
New product types for multi-family structures, stacked flats, and townhouses will offer even more excellent choices to those seeking low-maintenance or lower-cost houses.
Customizable Floor Plans
Over 30 different types of floor plans are available to ensure each tenant can find the one that suits them best. Whether you need more bedrooms, a home office, or more open space, all houses meet various needs.
These homes are being built by some of the best builders in the industry today, and every home is built with great detail and immense care, quality building materials, creative architectural techniques, and sustainability considerations.
Prop buyers can look forward to incorporating design elements that will financially help reduce energy consumption, modern home automation systems, and the ability to opt for a home design that directly reflects the buyer's personality.
World-Class Builders at Painted Prairie
The vision of Painted Prairie has been able to lure some of the most renowned builders in the country to develop it. Every company has its way of coming up with a home, which makes the homes in Painted Prairie lovely and firm. Some of the notable builders involved in the project include:
David Weekley Homes
KB Home
Epic Homes
McStain Neighborhoods
Meritage Homes
These builders are targeted based on codes, standards, artistic quality, energy efficiency of the buildings, and satisfactory work. The two offer different design styles and plain and beautiful house designs to meet the demand of anyone who wants to have a house built.
A Community That Is Both Sustainable and Forward Thinking
Organizational sustainability is one of the project's features and one of its most necessary components. It has also encouraged energy savings in homes, reasonable landscaping in neighborhoods, and environmentally sensitive infrastructure within the community.
Sustainability also extends beyond the houses at Painted Prairie. Ju-walking paths, bikeways, and a bus stop are nearby to reduce car use.
Mixed incomes and diverse housing stock prevent the degeneration of the community's quality, which is enabled by the diversification of income ranges in the community.

Word is youâre LEVEL-HEADED but can also be a bit PICKY and your favorite song is NEVER AS TIRED AS WHEN I'M WAKING UP by LCD SOUNDSYSTEM. I also heard youâll be staying in FISHER'S COVE. Iâm sure youâll love it! / @aurorabayaesthetic Trigger Warnings: Shitty parents, some brief drug mention

personality/headcanons
Plays a bunch of different instruments, absolute musical prodigy. Loooves learning new stuff, it's one of his favorite things to do. Main instruments are bass guitar and keyboard though
Prefers being in the background and was always really happy to let Matt Russo (his best friend and Kafka's frontman) have the attention. They never got arena-big but anyone who's really into the music scene has usually heard of them and for sure heard Matt's name at least, especially around LA/southern California
Not so much soft spoken as just like, not a huge talker. He's more of a listener. Will get more chatty with his close friends and definitely when he's drunk, but otherwise he's not gonna say too much unless he's being engaged
Is always working on some little side project in addition to production for Bath House and also guest producing on albums for much bigger artists (he's that name where you're like why have I heard this before, and it's because he produced that one Carly Rae Jepsen/Sabrina Carpenter/Lizzie McAlpine song you were obsessed with two years ago)
His main side gig is a project called Love Sucks Sometimes with his friend Elias Kipling. It's extremely weird and experimental and they get maybe 15k streams a month on Spotify if that.
Some LSS vibe songs: X, X, X,
He's very level-headed, he's not really gonna argue with you unless it's something very important to him
Pretty much only does long term relationships, falls in love hard and takes a long time between relos when one ends because he takes it very seriously
Used to do a lot of coke back in the day when the band first started touring but hasn't been into it as much in the last 5 or 6 years, maybe dabbling occasionally. Smokes a ton of weed
brief biography
Eddie grew up in a suburban neighborhood of Jersey City in a nice house and a middle class family, the child of a financial advisor (his mom) and a high school math teacher (his dad). He's the oldest of three kids, with a sister seven years younger than him and a brother in between. Because his parents both worked, they typically put Eddie in charge of his siblings, which, especially by the time he hit high school, impeded his freedom a lot. He's the type of person that resented his parents for it and tried not to misdirect his anger at his brother and sister, but they absolutely felt the consequences of it now and then, particularly in his junior and senior years. There was a lot of unhealthy stuff between him and his parents and whenever he could, Eddie spent a lot of time at his best friend Matt's house (who would end up being the frontman of Kafka). His parents were slightly insane and very conservative, but they recognized Eddie's parenting situation as being kind of dire and were always happy to have him over. His own parents were actually crazy, and would do things like locking him out of the house if he came home after curfew and snooping through his room for drugs. He has a terrible relationship with them these days, rarely goes to visit except for holidays, and has reached a point now where he knows there's never gonna be a relationship there and has accepted it. Kafkaesque started getting attention just after he and Matt and their two other friends in the band graduated high school in 2010/11ish. They released a few EPs and then finally their debut album, Kafkaesque, in November of 2012. Two years later in 2014 they released their sophomore album, Fear In Unexpected Places, and then Mass Hallucination in 2017. They were on hiatus for four years after that, dropped their last album, Hope This Helps, in 2021, and toured it briefly as an opening act for Submergence. They've been on hiatus again since then. There are a few singles that made it onto the radio but otherwise they were always a smaller band with a relatively small but dedicated following. It was in 2022, just under two years ago now, that Eddie and another producer friend of his co-founded their own music label, Bath House. Eddie's experimental project, Love Sucks Sometimes, is signed to the label, as well as a small but growing list of other alternative/experimental artists. He mainly lives in Aurora Bay, enjoying the slower pace than Los Angeles, which he isn't crazy about, and travels when he needs to.
connection ideas
Anyone from the music industry
Also doesn't even have to be from the industry, just people he's worked on side projects/collabs with from artists who have maybe designed album art for him, other musicians, singers who featured on a single, choreographers/set designers/stylists who helped with a music video, literally anything from that world official or not
An ex or two (would have been serious long-term relationships)
Friends in general! Smoking buddies, music friends (not professionally, just other music lovers), people he met in LA/while traveling for tours, etc.
The crazy to his calm
Some kind of parental figure(s) that soothe the hole in his soul left by his actual parents
Sibling vibes, he's such an older brother but could also be cute if he experienced being the younger sibling vibe

SOLA ADISA
full name: omorinsola "sola" fisayo adisa
pronouns & gender: she/her, cis woman
birthday & birthplace: june 8, 1996 (28); lagos, nigeria
location: ocean crest apartments
time in aurora bay: since june 2019
sexuality: bisexual
occupation: food truck owner/chef
@aurorabayaesthetic
about.
sola was born in lagos, nigeria to a big extended family but is an only child. her dad owned a restaurant serving nigerian standards â her mom never understood why people kept coming when they could just make it at home, but her dad always said it was because his food was just magical. sola grew up totally believing that, and she basically spent her childhood in the kitchen. when her parents wanted better tips or were dealing with a difficult table, they usually sent sola out with the food because it was adorable to have a tiny person just toddling up bringing plates carefully to the table, one by one.
she was born while a pretty brutal dictatorship was in place in nigeria, and she's fortunate not to remember any of it. her family laid low during the whole thing, just making their food and keeping their heads down, even though her mom hated that they had to. she wanted to be out in the streets, protesting and fighting, but having sola is the only thing that held her back. abacha, the dictator, died in 1998, but on a day-to-day level things got harder for the adisas because the country was going through so much structural change. almost the entirety of their extended family had already left, so when sola was seven, her immediate family followed.
they moved to flatbush, a neighborhood in brooklyn, and things were hard. her family had spent a lot of their savings on the move, and her parents had a hard time finding work because of a stigma around immigrants and like...general racism. sola is an incredibly chill person now, but she does have an acute sense for injustice and is very sensitive to anything she perceives as prejudice. things settled down eventually, her parents found blue collar jobs that were enough to pay the bills. her dad never opened a restaurant in the states, but he kept cooking all the while. the fundamentals of her knowledge of food came from him.
sola is a slacker. she realized from a pretty early age that she didn't need much, so she didn't ask for much. she could've spent her entire life at home with her parents, but she'd been raised by two strivers and achievers, and they would never allow that of her. so they got her through school and told her they would help her do whatever she wanted to do, she just had to do something.
so, of course, she chose food. nothing else felt so natural to her. after graduating high school, she took a gap year where she really just fooled around the city and worked to make her own money, and then she picked up and shipped off to the west coast for culinary school. at first, she hated being so far from home but eventually settled in, made friends, and reveled in the fact that she got to do what she loved everyday.
before graduating, she and a friend decided that the world of haute cuisine and pretentious food wasn't for them, and they resolved to the best goddamn food truck together. sola brought her background in nigerian food, her friend brought her background in south indian food, and they pooled their money to buy and fix up a truck called "jolyani," after their marquee dish: a goat jollof/lamb biryani fusion plate. they cooked up a lot of weird, fun, wonderful fusion dishes together, and just drove their little truck around southern california, selling at street corners, food festivals, wherever the cops wouldn't chase them away.
her co-owner was from aurora bay, and sola didn't care at all where they went, so they made AB their home base right after graduation. so she's just been moving and grooving ever since! she's a lil weirdo who's totally uninterested in anything serious except her food. she loves her work because she basically makes her own hours and, recently, after some tiktokers in LA found the truck, it's just been growing in popularity.
family.
mother: tianna adisa (nee king)
father: ifechukwude adisa
tidbits.
she owns a small turtle named "shell" because why not
will literally eat anything. she's gotten food poisoning so many times.
she's pretty different from her mom, but the biggest thing she took from her was that little fire inside of her, an anger at the fact that some people just think they're better than others, and all the things in the world that reinforce that belief â racism, classism, what have you. every month, a cut of her money from the truck goes to a food justice organization that she likes, and every other saturday she parks the truck in poorer neighborhoods and subsidizes prices for her food.

"That's it?"
"That's it. Just a lot of cuts from the glass." She explained.
Aurora looked over at Kat, whose face displayed emotions even she couldn't read, "What's your relation to Mr. Bradley?" Lola asked.
"He's..." Aurora hesitated, "He's Kat's soon-to-be ex-husband."
"Oh." Lola nodded, "Well if I get any new updates, I'll be sure to let you guys know." She flashed them a warm smile and walked away.
Aurora bent down in front of Erik and Kat, "So...?"
"We didn't do it," Erik stated immediately.
"Oh, we know you didn't. Convincing our friendly neighborhood men in blue might be a different story."
"They're not friendly," Kat muttered.
"I'm not sure you guys should be here, or even in the country," Gabe commented.
"We didn't do it, Gabriel." Kat spat.
"We know, and we believe you." Mel elbowed him in the stomach.
"I still think you can make it out of the country by lunch," Gabe muttered.
"We believe you," Aurora brought Kat's attention back to her, "We're just not sure the police will."
Erik glanced up and spotted Alison talking with a few cops, "Well, there might some other possibility." He nodded his head up in Alison's direction.
They followed his line of sight, and Kat let out a quiet gasp, "Oh, my God, Alison. You saw how terrified she was when she left the bar yesterday. I told her it would only get worse. She did this because of me."
"I think you guys should talk to a lawyer, just in case," Mel told them. Kat looked back up, and locked eyes with Alison. When they made eye contact, a look of recognition crossed Alison's face.
"I have to talk to her." Kat went to stand up.
"No, you can't." Erik grabbed her hand and pulled her back into the chair, "It doesn't matter who did and didn't do it. We look like we're conspiring over here."
-
Kat was sitting in a hospital chair while Erik grabbed some cups of coffee. Alison approached her as Erik came back, "Can I talk to you?" She asked.
"She really shouldn't be talking to you," Erik stated.
"It'll only be a second," Alison told him.
"It's all right." Kat took the cup from him and nodded reassuringly. Erik looked in her eyes, trying to decipher if she really was all right. Once he reassured himself she was okay, he walked away towards where Gabe and Mel were sitting.
"I just want you to know I didn't tell the police anything at all," Alison told her.
"What do you mean?" Kat asked, her brows furrowing together in confusion.
"I didn't tell them it was you. But thank you, thank you so much." Alison looked relieved more than anything.
-
Kat led Alison down the hall towards an empty hallway so they could have more privacy to talk, "Wait," Alison looked just as confused as Kat, "I was at the hotel. He got mad and went for a walk and told me to stay put--it wasn't you?"
"I swear to God it wasn't." Kat raised her hands in surrender.
"Who do you think it was?"
"An angel?" Kat scoffed.
"I'm sorry." Alison apologized.
"No, you don't have to-" Kat began to shake her head.
"I do." Alison cut her off, "I really thought I was better than you. I believed everything he told me about you. God, I'm smart. I'm a doctor, I'm a feminist, I never thought I would end in something like this."
"It happened so slow. I stop talking to my friends, my co-workers, people he didn't like. Then my family didn't understand, and they got worried. So I just brushed them off, and then stopped talking to them, too, until my circle got smaller and smaller until he was the only person left."
"And then I stopped believing myself. Things I had seen and things I had heard, things I knew were true, because he told me I was crazy, and I just believed him. He knows me so well, he can zero in on an insecurity, and make a whole argument come back on me, and now it's my fault all over again. I'm always the one that's wrong."
Kat stood with Alison as she paced and ranted, just listening to the story that sounded all too familiar to her because Adam did the same thing to her.
He isolated her from her friends, her family, Aurora and manipulated her into thinking she was crazy.
"When he started hitting me, it was just barely a surprise." Alison scoffed a little, "And he told me it was my fault, and I actually believed him. Until you talked to me yesterday, I actually believed him." Kat nodded, "How did I believe him?"
"Because he was good to you in the beginning. Alison, we're not stupid. We didn't fall for someone who beat us, we fell for someone who made us laugh and feel wanted and loved and seen."
"Adam is brilliant and charming and persuasive and so manipulative, and the good outweighed the bad until it didn't," Kat told her.
Alison listened to her and nodded. Kat nodded, reaching over and grabbing Alison's hand, giving it a squeeze.
-
Alison walked into Adam's room, who was now awake. He saw Alison and scoffed when he saw that Kat's hand was interlaced with Alison's. Following behind them were Aurora and Lola.
"Why are you with Emily?" He asked. The whole left side of his face was covered with blood and scrapes.
"Cause she doesn't want to be alone with you." Kat spat, ignoring him calling her the wrong name.
He chuckled, "Why am I not surprised? You tried to poison her when I'm not able to defend myself?" He shook his head, "Alison, get my stuff. I'm not staying here." He sat up, pulled out wires, and pushed himself off the bed.
"No," Alison stated, standing her ground.
"Babe. I'm really trying here, but you got to meet me halfway." He scoffed once again, "I know I'm not perfect. You are way closer to that than I am. But, please, can we just leave this place and not look back? We have a wedding to plan." He exhaled.
Alison removed her hand from Kat's and took a step closer to Adam, "You should probably call your office and let them know you're gonna be gone for a few days."
"That's my girl," Adam smirked.
"Or, like, ten to twenty years." She corrected.
"What?" He asked.
"I'm gonna talk to the police, Adam. I'm gonna tell them every time you ever hurt me. - Every kick, every slap." She took a breath, "You put your hands around my throat last night, so that's not just domestic violence. That's attempted murder." She turned around to Kat, "Will you testify?"
"Absolutely." Kat nodded.
"You sound crazy," Adam told her.
"No, I don't."
"No, she doesn't."
"Not at all."
"Not even a little." All four girls responded at the same time.
"Alison, I'm the well-known spokesperson, and you're... nobody. All you're gonna do is throw your career in the garbage. No one's gonna hire someone they don't trust."
"No, I'm not gonna let you scare me into backing down again." She shook her head.
"Scare you? I'm the one who should be scared. You're threatening me in a hospital bed. I-I'm defenseless. Please. Can we just talk?" He begged, trying to manipulate her.
"Some very broken part of me still loves you, Adam, but let me be very clear... I am never speaking to you again unless it's from a witness stand." Alison told him, her voice soft.
"You stupid bitch." Adam cursed, his angry side quickly coming through, "You're not going to the police! You're not walking out on me!" He spat, attempting to jump out of the bed.
Alison and Kat gasped. Kat grabbed Alison and pulled her out of the way while Aurora and Lola stepped in and stood protectively in front of Kat and Alison.
Adam's foot got stuck in the blankets and he tripped, hitting his head on the edge of the bed. He crashed on the ground, unconscious. Lola cautiously took a step forward while Aurora kept her place in front of Kat and Alison.
"His pulse is thready, and he's not breathing. We should get a crash cart in here." Lola announced.
-
Kat and Alison were standing outside of Adam's room with Aurora, who was consoling Kat, and Erik, "What does "second-impact syndrome" mean?" Alison asked Lola.
Aurora looked down and noticed Kat messing with the skin on her arm, pinching it. She reached down and placed her hand on top of Kat's, effectively stopping the harm Kat was doing to herself.
"It means he got a second concussion before the first one healed, and his brain herniated." She explained.
The neurosurgeon walked out of his room, "Is he brain-dead?" Kat asked.
"We can't say with certainty for a few more hours, but it appears that way. I'm... I'm very... I'm sorry." The woman explained, "Are you comfortable talking to her about her options?" She looked over to her colleague.
"Yes." Lola nodded.
"What does she mean by "options"?" Alison asked.
"Well, she means you have to decide if you want to withdraw his life support." Lola told her, then looked over to Kat, "But, it's not up to Alison."
"Oh, my God." Kat gasped, "It's me. I'm still legally his wife." She stated, then burst into hysterical laughter. Like, the laugh you would let when someone would tell an amazingly funny joke.
Aurora knew the stress and everything were hitting her at that very moment and knew at any second, Kat would break down.
"Oh, my God." Kat was gasping for air as everyone stood and watched her break down, "I'm so sorry. Crap, I'm so sorry." She covered her mouth as her laughter stopped and soon turned into crying.
Aurora wrapped her arms around Kat as she cried, rubbing her hand up and down Kat's back. Aurora closed her eyes, feeling tears form in her own.
It was all too similar to when Kat first showed up on Aurora's doorstep, finally revealing everything Adam had done to her.
-
Erik stood outside of Adam's room. Kat and Alison were watching Adam as they asked Lola questions. Although Kat got the final say, she wanted Alison to have a say too.
Aurora walked up to him, a smile on her face, "It was a drunk driver." She told him.
"What?!" Erik asked.
"They found the guy who hit Adam. It was a drunk driver. So nobody has to go to Canada." He chuckled, "She's free." Aurora smiled, crossing her arms as she watched Kat and Alison.
"What happens if we leave him plugged in?" Alison asked Lola.
"His organs will shut down. He won't last for long." Lola answered.
"I wanted him to rot in jail." Alison stated, "I wanted to stand up and tell the whole world what he did. I wanted to stand up in court and humiliate him the way he humiliated me."
Kat looked down at the man she once feared, but now, all she felt was pity. Adam Bradley ruined her. He found her broken, sad, and wanting to be loved and manipulated that want.
He squeezed everything good out of her and replaced it with doubt, worry, and pain.
"When I was with him, he didn't smoke or drink. Is that still true?" Kat asked.
"Yeah. He jogs five miles a day. No red meat. Why?" Alison asked.
"Because I know what to do." Kat looked up at Lola, who looked at her curiously.
-
A few hours later, Kat was sitting back in the same hospital seat, flipping through the files Lola had given her, "Is this allowed?" Alison chuckled.
"I was given permission by the chief of the hospital." Kat shrugged. She smiled as she came across a specific file, "This is a good one. His kidney's going to a little girl in Billings." She pointed.
In the end, instead of deciding to just leave him plugged in or un-plugging him, Kat decided to donate his organs to people who really needed them.
"Do you think he's evil?" Alison asked, causing Kat to look up at her, "I mean, I'm a teacher, and I think I'm an atheist. But there's a little part of me that's worried that the girl in Billings is getting an evil kidney." She chuckled.
Kat nodded, "I don't believe anyone is just evil. If people were just one thing, life would be so much simpler. Adam Bradley was awful in this life, but now, in death, he gets to do all this good."
While she was speaking, Alison was ripping the engagement ring off her finger, "So there's light and darkness, and they both coexist. And sometimes it's really beautiful." Kat smiled over at Alison, who smiled back.

Character Intro: Thetis (Kingdom of Ichor)
Nicknames- My Pearl by Zeus
Age- 19
Location- Skyline district, New Olympus
Personality- Even though she's stunningly beautiful with an intimidating modelesque presence, Thetis has the sweetest caring soul. She's one of the many girlfriends/lovers of Zeus.
She's a nereid oceanic nymph. Her tail has pale white & silver scales.
Thetis loves her family and wishes she visited more often. She likes video chatting with her nieces, nephews, and youngest siblings- like Themisto & Dero. She loves mailing them toys & gifts and giving her sisters some "goodies" from her job (designer clothes, shoes, bags, makeup, and jewelry). Despite her mostly permanent move to Olympius, she hasn't renounced her Underwater citizenship. When she's in New Olympus, Thetis often hangs out with her younger brother Nerites. She's not as close as she used to be with her sister Tris (Amphitrite) after she voiced her opinion about Thetis' relationship with Zeus.
In Olympius, she lives in a high rise penthouse apartment in the Skyline neighborhood of New Olympus. She was also gifted a beach house in Naxos by Zeus. She has a pet newborn hippocampus- a girl named Aurora. In her penthouse apartment, Thetis bought her an Olympic sized tank and when she's staying over at her beach house, Aurora is free to roam in the seas.
Aside from her good friend Pandora, Thetis is a very popular print and runway model. She models for several brands and products like Glory's Crown (she loves the jasmine tea products line), Megaleio, Euryphaessa, Olive Visibly, Paloma, ViVoTrack, Diamond Ave., La Petit Amour, Swimsilk, Persuasions, No.3 & Co, Heavenly Spark, and many other esteemed fashion brands.
Her favorite fashion brand is Chromata tou Nerou. The designer is a nereid nymph named Kyriaki.
Some of Thetis' favorite accessories have been the latest Diamond Ave. jeweled clutches she bought- the seashell shaped one & the dolphin shaped one.
In the business, she's also good friends with Adonis and Narcissus, who are male mortal models. She's also friendly with Aphrodite (goddess of love & beauty), Calypso, Peitho (goddess of persuasion & sensuality), and The Graces. Outside of this, Thetis is also friendly with Delphin (god of dolphins) and Nephele (goddess of clouds).
Her go-to drink is a limoncello gin cocktail (a drink made with gin, limoncello, club soda, & ice). She also likes pineapple-coconut smoothies, lychee juice, mojitos, New Olympus Iced Teas, & martinis.
Her favorite nighttime snack is poi kulolo ice cream. Since it's rarely sold in Olympius, she orders it online at a shop located in the Underwater Realm.
Her favorite food is french fries topped with shaved feta, parmesan, and melted graviera cheese. She also enjoys when her parents Nereus and Doris stop by to see her- giving her home cooked meals of sweet rolls, spam fried rice, & manapua. She also likes the lobster roll sandwich from The Bread Box.
In her free time, Thetis enjoys surfing, reading magazines, swimming, listening to music, shopping, going to the spa, watching TV, hanging out with her friends & family (when she gets the chance). She also enjoys watercolor painting.
Thetis considers herself "the favorite'' of Zeus' girlfriends. They first met at a photoshoot for his lingerie line Heavenly Spark. The photo ended up on a billboard downtown. He invited her out to dinner at his high class restaurant, The Crown, and they've been together ever since. He even spends the night sometimes at her apartment and long weekends at her beach house. He has recently gifted her with a "quasi engagement ring"- a gorgeous pearl & diamond ring. She wears it on her middle finger instead of her ring finger. Thetis is well aware of the scrutiny she receives sometimes from the public. Even though she hasn't vocalized it, she does want to have a baby with Zeus, marry him, and become the new queen of Olympius now that the queen has filed for divorce.
Despite the Queen's best efforts, she couldn't successfully blackball Thetis from the modeling industry. Thetis once discovered the tires of her luxurious custom made truck slashed (with the platinum chrome spinners damaged). The side of the truck had the word "slut" spray painted. Thetis suspects Hera (goddess of women & marriage) and her assistant Iris (goddess of the rainbow).
"There comes a time for a new Queen."

Americans have been saying for a year they want to get back to normal. Tragically, they're getting their wish.
With the gradual return to public places comes a specter the country was all too willing to set aside as it grappled with a pandemic capable of killing thousands of Americans a day. Mass shootings are starting to make headlines again, and though their return is most unwelcome, they've proved to be an inextricable part of life in the United States.
The latest mass killing left 10 dead at a grocery store. For the past 12 months, Americans have been vigilant in grocery stores to avoid contagion. Monday's slayings in Boulder, Colorado, reminded them that even with pandemic hope on the horizon, they should remain vigilant for a different reason.
This is a hard thing to read, but important. Full text under the cut.

Americans shouldn't have to fret about dying in a supermarket, or at a spa, or anywhere for that matter. Catching a bullet should be far from their minds, but with a return to American normalcy comes the reality that anyone could die for nothing, just about everywhere.
Seven mass shootings in seven days
Just as the country is conquering a new pandemic, an old, familiar epidemic makes its return. The last week has been a harbinger of what "back to normal" means for the US.
The most recent string of senseless gun violence began March 16 when a shooter killed eight people at three Atlanta spas. The next day, a drive-by in Stockton, California, injured five people who'd gathered for a vigil.
Four people were hospitalized Thursday after a shooting in Gresham, Oregon. On Saturday, a pair of shootings at clubs in Dallas and Houston left a young woman dead and 12 people injured. Shortly thereafter, a shooter opened fire at what Philadelphia police termed an illegal party, killing one man and injuring five more.
Now, Boulder makes seven in seven days. When the gunfire at King Soopers stopped, 10 lay dead, including hero officer Eric Talley, the first policeman on the scene. His wife and seven children will pay an astronomical debt for their dad's bravery.
"Flags that have barely been raised back to full mast after the tragic shooting in Atlanta that claimed eight lives and now the tragedy here, close to home, at a grocery store that could be any of our neighborhood grocery stores," Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said Tuesday.
The King Soopers location where the melee unfolded is one of about 1,000 providers in Colorado working to repel the killer Covid-19.
Steven McHugh's son-in-law had queued for a dose of vaccine, like more than a million other Coloradoans. He was third in line, and his daughters chatted with their grandmother on the phone as he waited, McHugh said.
When the gunfire erupted, a bullet found its way to the woman at the front of the line. Her fate is unclear, as is much about Monday's shooting. Authorities haven't divulged a motive, but history tells us it won't make sense.
McHugh's son-in-law fled with the girls -- one in seventh grade, the other in eighth -- to an upstairs staffing area above the pharmacy and hid in a closet. Dozens more shots rang out, McHugh said, citing his son-in-law.
It was "extraordinarily terrifying," the grandfather told CNN, "and of course the little one's saying, 'The coats weren't long enough to hide our feet,' as they were standing behind the coats in the closet."
'A normal we can no longer afford'
The US government doesn't have a centralized database to track mass shootings, but anecdotal accounts indicate they were down during the pandemic as Americans were encouraged to stay home and many of their favorite gathering places were shut down.
Former President Barack Obama called for action Tuesday, expressing disbelief that only Covid-19 could quell the gun violence the country has long endured.
"A once-in-a-century pandemic cannot be the only thing that slows mass shootings in this country," he said. "We shouldn't have to choose between one type of tragedy and another. It's time for leaders everywhere to listen to the American people when they say enough is enough -- because this is a normal we can no longer afford."
For the mass shootings that did unfold amid the pandemic, their locations were frighteningly familiar: a Buffalo, Minnesota, health clinic; a bowling alley in Rockford, Illinois; a Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, mall; parties in Rochester, New York, and Washington, DC; and a brewery in Milwaukee where, authorities would learn later, the gunman had been employed.
Gun violence is not a uniquely American phenomenon, but part of the rich American tapestry are threads of evil and violence: people (almost always men) who use weapons (often firearms) to snuff out innocents. Sometimes they're mentally ill, but more often they're just angry or vicious.
Their reasoning -- when it's attainable -- fails to provide closure. Outrage invariably erupts after each massacre. One side demands stronger gun laws. They're labeled un-American. Their opponents tout the Second Amendment. They're labeled callous. A stalemate ensues until the next killing, then repeat.
Within an hour of the Boulder killings, the National Rifle Association tweeted the Second Amendment. It later retweeted it. Nothing more.
It should surprise no one that a special interest group champions the Second Amendment. The amendment is a promise to every American, but 15 years prior to its ratification, the Declaration of Independence brought other promises of rights deemed "unalienable."
The full guarantees of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" will never be achieved by Officer Talley, Tralona Bartkowiak, Suzanne Fountain, Teri Leiker, Kevin Mahoney, Lynn Murray, Rikki Olds, Neven Stanisic, Denny Strong, Jody Waters -- or any of the thousands of victims who fell before Monday in Boulder.
'Part of the American experience'
In all likelihood, another person died by a gun while you were reading this. Despite the media's breathless focus on mass shootings, gun violence takes myriad and frequent forms.
According to numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the country saw 14,414 homicides in 2019 -- about one every 36 minutes -- while another 23,941 souls fatally turned guns on themselves -- roughly once every 22 minutes.
In his statement, Obama called out other scapegoats: disaffection, misogyny, hate. The United States has monopolies on none of these, though it has special brands that can be pernicious.
Sandy Phillips, who co-founded the organization Survivors Empowered to console and guide survivors of gun violence, pointed to the victims who suffer in silence, because the killings of their loved ones are seemingly not important enough for the newspapers or the nightly news.
Doubt her? Google the details about last week's shooting in Stockton, California, one of the most racially diverse cities in the nation.
"We have mass shootings in slow motion every day in this country, in other neighborhoods that never get the press, that never get the opportunity to speak out about what's happening in their communities -- and we need to change that," Phillips, who lost her 24-year-old daughter Jessica Ghawi in 2012 to gun violence in Aurora, Colorado, told CNN.
Those neighborhoods often belong to minorities, who have had a particularly rough time of the pandemic as well. It's another crushing American axiom that society's ills tend to home in on people of color, and those victims must yell so much louder to be heard.
There will be much yelling in coming days, perhaps weeks. Obama is right when he said Americans possess the ability to "make it harder for those with hate in their hearts to buy weapons of war. We can overcome opposition by cowardly politicians and the pressure of a gun lobby that opposes any limit on the ability of anyone to assemble an arsenal."
The margins are thin, though, and the complexity of that American tapestry will be on display. A Gallup poll from late last year showed 42% of Americans had guns in their homes, a number that's risen since 2019. Another Gallup query indicated 57% of Americans want stricter gun laws, a percentage that's on the decline.
Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe said "absolutely nothing" will stop the country's return to pre-pandemic mass violence if lawmakers refuse to curb access to the weaponry.
"This has become part of the American experience, and let's not forget: It's completely unique to us," he told CNN. "There's not another similar country on Earth that experiences the same number, the frequency of mass shootings as we do, and it is directly attributable to the profusion and the availability of guns, particularly high-powered assault-style weapons and how easily pretty much anyone can acquire them here in this country."

Haru Nemuri Lets Her Soul Run Ablaze in âShunka Ryougenâ [Q&A]
Treasure. We are constantly looking for it and by its very nature it remains elusive. Considering the enormity of music being released everyday, to strike any vein of originality is near miraculous, but to encounter a trove of fearless, idiosyncratic album brimming with creativity is atypical, and everything about Haru Nemuri is comfortably atypical.Â
After hearing Nemuriâs sophomore album Shunka Ryougen, which is very comfortably in album of the year territory already, we decided to reach out to this Japanese maverick to try and gaze into the sun without going blind.
Who is Haru Nemuri?
Haru Nemuri: A singer-songwriter.
What is Shunka Ryougen all about?
I constantly think about living and dying throughout this life, but it can be said that those days have come to fruition. It probably could be said that it is an imagined scenery at the time when the soul burns.
You mix, match and reinvent so many influences. How do you settle on sound design and song composition?
If I find one loop that sounds cool, I prepare something that has the impression of destroying it (It can be something like the opposite, or something that you wouldn't normally combine) and then I put my thoughts into how I can match those. Regarding the development of songs, I will prepare something like, if normally done it would go towards pop and something that is not kitsch, and combine them while looking at the balance.
On such a huge work, there must be collaborators and producers; care to mention any standouts?
Generally all the songs are almost arranged by the time I finish writing the songs by myself. And then sometimes I would have a co-producer join me to amplify the world of the song. There are several co-producers who joined me this time including: MyRiot, YAMACHI, samayuzame, Minori Nagashima -serval DOG-, Sisters, Amane Uyama, Tatsuya Okuwaki, URU, GINPEI ITO, Takayuki Kato.
I completed the song through an online session with MyRiot for âDĂ©construction.â I love AURORA's music, and I wanted to work with someone who made music with her, so I took my chance and asked and they were happy to join (laugh). The process was really creative and I enjoyed it alot! I completed the song âPandoraâ with samayuzame. I was thrilled the whole time because she showed her amazing creativity and did a job that exceeded expectations with the vector I expected.
I also finished the song âSouzou Suruâ with Amane Uyama. Of all the people who make music called âhyperpopâ in Japan, she is my favorite musician in that genre. I always laugh so hard because I get something I really donât expect.
What makes the cut for an album track? You clearly had tons to filter through. How do you curate yourself?
From the time I decided to make this album, I have written the songs necessary for this album, so it can be said that the curation process was finished at the stage of composition.
Can we expect more of this style in the future or do you tire easily of what youâve experimented with already?
Hmm, Iâd say don't expect the exact same thing (laughter). I was so devoted to making this album that I can't really think of what's next right now, but eventually I will need to create something that is more of an advanced version of the current style. Before that though, I do feel that I want to create something that prioritizes what I feel comfortable in.
Besides this excellent album, what else should we be on the lookout for?
Iâm trying to plan an album tour, so please listen to the album over and over again and be prepared to sing with me (laughter).
Whatâs inspiring you right now outside of music?
Martial arts, anarchism, feminism, fashion, and the stray cats in my neighborhood.
Your album drops alongside Earth Day. How does the natural environment affect you personally?
It reminds us of the fact that the world was just there and was created beautifully in the first place. It helps me to live, as I often despair in the human world.
Who are your Ones To Watch?
AURORA, Pussy Riot, Dorian Electra, Grimes, Jaguar Jonze, Lim Kim, Shamir, Ziyoou-vachi

It's been a year since you started to date Gilly.
With him, everything is just perfect. He's kind, gentle, romantic and empathic. He's always surprising you at work, whenever he can, bringing you food or picking you up to take you to your house.
But it's been a while since you started to question why he has never invited you to his house.
He used to say that yours feels like his home, but you are sharing it with some co-workers and sometimes it's a little awkward. Not because of them, but you. Wanting to have some intimacy with your boyfriend.
So you, finally, ask him.
He brings you to. In a neighborhood that you better have an eye over your car, if you want to keep it.
Walls covered by graffittis.
Latin music playing loud everywhere.
And people that look like the kind that anyone would cross to the opposite sidewalk to not walk close to them.
It's a small house. With white facade and black rooftop. A porch next to the garage and an old railing surrounding it.
The inside is a little better, looking like a normal house of a man who lives alone.
âWell, this is where I liveâ.
He is placed in the middle of the living room, from where you can see everything. The main room, the bathroom, the kitchen and the backyard.
You don't say anything, because you don't have anything to say about.
He's starting to think that you are going to break with him, squeezing the leather gloves between his hands. Visibly nervous.
He can't help but think all the time that someone like you deserves something better than this.
But you like it.
It smells really nice, just like your boyfriend.
You can imagine yourselves watching a movie on the sofa without being interrupted.
You can imagine yourselves cooking breakfast together.
And you can imagine yourself loving him and having a life together there.
âCould you be happy here with me?â
âI'm happy whenever and wherever you are with me, Gillyâ.
A fleeting smile appears on his lips.
âWould you⊠like to move with me?â
That's the best question he has ever made to you.
âFuck, yesâ.
You laugh jumping into his arms, hugging him tightly.
âReally?â
He can't believe you, watching you nod once and again, before kissing him.
âYou kidding? I love this place. I can't wait to wake up every morning with you, and⊠have date-nights, and⊠and, damn! Look at your kitchen, it is an original american! I love these⊠kinds of windows separating it from the living roomâ.
He's the most happy man on earth, hearing you describe all those things.
âAnd it smells like youâ.
That honeyes tone of voice you use, sinking your nose in his neck, melts his heart.
âI will ask for some days off, so I can pack my thingsâ.
âWanna start now?â
